Brackla Community Council provide residents with green waste bags at a reduced cost of £1 per bag. This bag will be collected by the Borough on the same day as your black bag refuse. We also provide free dog waste bags.
Brackla is located in the County Borough of Bridgend.
It has a population of approximately 11,000, making it larger in comparison some towns in the area.
We have five primary schools: Brackla primary, Tremains Infants & Juniors, Archdeacon John Lewis Church in Wales School & Ysgol Bro Cwm Ogwr.
We also have a new school which opened in September 2011, Archbishop McGrath Roman Catholic High School, together with excellent sports facilities which are managed by Bridgend County Borough School.
